I. Running-in of New Machines (Applicable to All Fuel-powered Equipment)
Run the new machine without load for 2 hours during break-in period. Shut down the machine for a 10-minute cooling break after every hour of operation.
Replace the engine oil while the engine is hot once running-in is finished. Never carry out heavy land-clearing work with a brand-new machine under full load.
II. Mandatory Inspections Before and After Each Operation
Fuel: Use No.93 unleaded gasoline for 4-stroke engines. For 2-stroke engines, mix dedicated 2-stroke engine oil with gasoline in the specified proportion strictly. Expired or water-contaminated gasoline is prohibited.
Engine Oil: Check the oil level of 4-stroke engines before each use, and replace the engine oil every 30 cumulative working hours.
Air Filter: For operation in dusty orchards and construction sites, clean the sponge filter element every 15 hours, and replace the paper filter element every 50 hours.
Cutter Head & Blades: Clear tangled weeds and wood shavings, check for chipping and deformation, and grind or replace the blades in a timely manner.
III. Targeted Maintenance by Equipment Type
Brush Cutter: Refill gearbox grease and clean carbon deposits on the spark plug every 50 working hours.
Lawn Mower: Regularly remove grass clippings from the chassis, and lubricate the rotating shaft of the 7-level cutting height adjustment mechanism.
Wood Chipper: Clean the feeding inlet and discharging channel after every chipping session, and grind the blades regularly.
High-pressure Washer: Drain all residual water inside the pump after use for freeze protection in winter.
Sewage Pump: Flush the pump chamber after pumping silt each time to prevent solid impurities from abrading the impeller.
IV. Regulations for Long-term Storage
Drain all fuel from the fuel tank, wipe off dust and debris across the whole machine, then store the equipment in a dry and ventilated warehouse. Start the engine and keep it idling for 5 minutes every month to maintain the engine.
